A suit is decided long before it is cut. Two thousand cloths pass through this showroom in a year; perhaps forty become the collection on the rail. The rest are declined — for a hand that disappoints, a color that flattens under light, a weave that will not hold its press past November.
What remains is the collection you choose from. Below, how to read it.
The Rail and the Library
Cloth reaches you two ways. Neither is better. They answer different questions.
The House Collection — in stock, on site
Handpicked, stored in-house, and replenished twice yearly for Spring/Summer and Fall/Winter. Every cloth here has been handled, hung, and judged before it earned a place on the rail.

À-La-Carte — the connoisseur programs
Thousands of cloths held at the mills in France, England, and Italy, ordered against your commission alone. Every climate, every weave, every weight — blends and pure fabrications, in a range no showroom could physically hold.

We partner with the finest cloth mills and fabric suppliers from Britain, France, Italy and Europe and personally check each batch we use to ensure that it meets our high standards. We also stock a selection of fabrics in-house so that you know exactly what your suit will be made from.
