At Monsieur Brunold, we've spent over a decade helping New Yorkers look amazing on the most photographed day of their lives — not like a stranger in a rental. Weddings aren't solo acts, and neither is getting dressed for one. We work with couples, wedding parties, and families to outfit everyone — grooms, groomsmen, mothers and fathers of the couple, whoever's standing up there with you — in coordinated, individually fitted pieces. Everyone gets their own perfect fit. Nobody gets a costume.

At least 8–12 weeks before the date for made-to-measure, 12–16 weeks for bespoke. That allows for consultation, build, and final adjustments. Outfitting the wedding party adds another 2–3 weeks.

Most garments have cloth reserved in the seams for exactly this, and we can let out or take in within a reasonable range. If you're expecting a more significant change before the big day — for any reason — just let us know, and we'll either leave extra leeway for alterations or suggest a style that's more forgiving of a changing fit.

Sometimes. Tell us the date at the first conversation and we'll tell you honestly whether it's achievable. We would rather decline a deadline than miss one.

We start by talking — about the wedding, the role this suit plays in it, and what you're picturing. From there, we go through the fabric library together and walk through your options: cloth, lapel, lining, buttons, pockets, and finish. We'll show samples and let you try pieces on so you can see how they actually look, not just feel them as swatches.
There's no pressure to decide on the spot. Take the plan, the samples, and a few days to be sure. Once you've confirmed the design, we'll book you in to take your measurements by hand and assess posture and stance, so the pattern is built around the exact suit you've chosen — not the other way around. From there, we begin the tailoring process, with a final fitting and any small adjustments before it's ready for you to take home.
